Documents play a central role in managing client work inside ATOM. The platform makes it easy to upload, organize, and securely share files directly through the client portal.
Step 1: Access the Client Profile #
From your Dashboard, open the Clients section. Select the client you want to upload documents for. This will bring you to their profile page, where all client-specific details are stored.
Step 2: Open the Documents Tab #
Within the client profile, navigate to the Documents tab. This section contains all files associated with the client, including those you’ve shared and those the client has uploaded themselves.
Step 3: Upload a Document #
Click the Upload Document button and select the file from your computer. Supported formats typically include PDF, Word, Excel, and image files.

Step 4: Share with the Client #
If you want the client to access the file, mark it as Shared to Client Portal before saving. Once shared, the document will appear in the client’s portal under their documents section.
💡 Tip: If a document is for internal use only, simply leave the sharing box unchecked.
Step 5: Notify the Client (Optional) #
After sharing, you can send the client an automated notification. This ensures they know a new file is ready for review or download.
