Admin – Sites

The ADMIN Sites page configures key areas for information labels/links within your client files and pages. Drake and Crosslink users will also use this page to enter credentials for the EF Data that flows to ATOM. 

NOTE: If you would like to open or close an Additional ATOM Site, please get in touch with the ATOM Support team for assistance. 

Field Descriptions

Table List – Each site, if your office has multiple ATOM Sites, will be listed here on the Sites Page. You can enter specific information for each of your Sites. 

Edit Pencil Icon – Use the Edit Pencil to edit each Site’s specific information.

Feedback Configuration Icon – This link controls your Social Media Review URL setup.  If your office has more than one ATOM Site/location, your Feedback Configuration can be individually set per location.  If you have separate social media pages for each location, you can enter your location-specific links for each site or use the same links (Yelp, Facebook, or Google) for all areas. 

Site Name – Here, you can Customize the listed site name(s). Typically, a site name is based on the office location (city or street name).

Abbreviation – Edit or add a two-character abbreviation of the Site Name. The two-letter abbreviation is displayed on various pages and reports throughout the software representing the Site the client is assigned to.

EFIN # – *Applies to Drake Software and Crosslink users ONLY. Enter your tax office’s EFIN # associated with the designated site.  This field is required to ensure EF Data information can flow into your ATOM Site. 

EFIN Password – *Applies to Drake Software and Crosslink users ONLY. This field is required to ensure EF Data information can flow into your ATOM Site.

Drake Users: Enter your e-file password (formerly EFIN Password) assigned to you by Drake Software. If you need help determining your e-file password, you can locate it by logging into your Drake Support site: https://support.drakesoftware.com/site/Login.aspx. You’ll find your E-File password in My Account > My Serial #’s > Each Year’s PW.  Enter the newest season’s e-file Password.

Crosslink Users: Enter your Transmitter password.  If you need clarification on your Transmitter PW, you can Contact Crosslink support for assistance.

Hour Difference from Eastern Standard Time (EST) – This section controls the Date/Time records in your ATOM Site (Time Stamps, Message Logs, and Punch Clock).  ATOM’s server is located in the Eastern Time Zone, so your office must enter the Hour Difference from Eastern Standard Time (EST) to correct the ATOM Times for YOUR office location. *Some offices will need to alter this column if they do not observe Daylight Savings Time in their area.  Here are the correct entries for zones across the US (Standard Time):

Eastern (EST): 0

Central (CST): -1

Mountain (MST): -2

Pacific (PST): -3

Hawaii (HST): -5

State Refund Link – The State Refund Link is displayed in the Contact’s EF Database Section and on the Client Portal if you have left the System Portal option to “Check the Status of My Tax Return.  Enter/edit the State Refund Link for each site’s State Refund Status Page. 

EF Data System – *Applies to Drake and Crosslink users.  Each office’s ATOM must be appropriately configured to pull the EF Data from the proper software.  Users should see the appropriate “Drake” or “Crosslink” label in this column for proper EF data importation. Please contact ATOM Support if you do not see the correct title for your office.

Company Name Override – Offices with more than one site may wish to differentiate each site’s name.  As a rule, the Company name listed in the ADMIN > Core Configuration > Company & Tax Information page will default on all printed “reports” from your site unless overridden here.  This includes ATOM Invoices, Statements, and Payroll documents.  This name will also appear on the ATOM Footer when users log in to your software.   

Address – Offices with more than one site may wish to differentiate each site’s address.  As a rule, the Company Address listed in the ADMIN > Core Configuration > Company & Tax Information page will default on all printed “reports” unless overridden here.  This includes ATOM Invoices, Statements, and Payroll documents.  This address will also appear on the ATOM Footer when users log in to your software.  *This function can be helpful for new Users for quick reference. 

Phone – Offices with more than one site may wish to differentiate each site’s phone number.  As a rule, the Company phone number listed in the ADMIN > Core Configuration > Company & Tax Information page will default on all printed “reports” unless overridden here.  This includes ATOM Invoices, Statements, and Payroll documents.  This Phone Number will also appear on the ATOM Footer when users log in to your software.  *This function can be helpful for new Users or when your office has new numbers for quick reference. 

Default for Twilio Voice Office Hours – *Applies to offices utilizing Twilio VoIP Only.  You may find that Users who are answering/making calls outside of regular business hours can mistakenly allow new calls to drop into your call queue. To avoid this issue, you can now ensure the Twilio No Answer message is automatically played outside of your Open/Close times for the day regardless of Users’ availability. To enable this feature, go to Admin > Core Configuration > Sites > Default for Twilio Office Hours. Setting the Start/End time for the day can be done either in Work Schedule, Appointments Schedule, or globally in Admin > Core Configuration > Scheduler Properties.

NOTE: If you are using this option, it is a good idea to “Close” your office hours on Holidays and Weekends by setting their Start and End times to be the same on the Appointment Calendar

SMS Phone – Like the Company Name, Address, and Phone, your SMS Phone can be entered here so that it appears on the ATOM Footer when Users are logged in to your software.  *This function can be helpful for new Users or when your office has new numbers for quick reference. 

Fax – Like the Company Name, Address, Phone, and SMS number, your Fax number can be entered here so that it appears on the ATOM Footer when Users are logged in to your software.  *This function can be helpful for new Users or when your office has new numbers for quick reference. 

E-mail – Like the Company information listed above, your preferred company Email Address can be entered here so that it appears on the ATOM Footer when Users are logged in to your software.  *This function can be helpful for new Users or when your office has a new address for quick reference.

Website – Like the Company information listed above, your preferred company Website Address can be entered here so that it appears on the ATOM Footer when Users are logged in to your software.  *This function can be helpful for new Users.

IP Address – List the IP address of the office’s Internet. This field is useful if you utilize the IP address restriction setting for Users. You can list IP addresses here for each Site to reference when setting up those restrictions.

Inactive – This column will contain a checkmark if a Site has been inactivated.
