Add a new Account Year for ALL clients at once. Roll over ALL your clients at once, from one year to another, rather than adding them one at a time as they come into your office. NOTE: If you are not confident with this feature, please contact ATOM Support for assistance before rolling over your clients because it’s not easy to undue if you make a mistake.

Field Descriptions #
Year to copy from – Enter the year you want to copy from. For example, if you want to “Roll” your 2025 clients to 2026, you will enter 2025 in this field.
Year to copy to – Enter the year you want to copy to. For example, if you want to “Roll” your 2025 clients to 2026 you would enter 2026 in this field.
Business Types – Select the Business Type you want to copy. For example, if you want to “Roll” your 2025 Tax Prep clients to 2026 you would enter Business Type: Tax Prep in this field.
Rollover Type – Select what information you want rolled. These options are:
- Copy Account Information – This will copy All Client Account Information from the source year (i.e. Account Type, Time, User, etc.)
- Copy Account Information and Open Office Events – This will copy ALL Open Office Events from the source year to the destination year. Plus, Account Information will be copied to the designated year.
- Copy Account Information and Transactions – This will copy Account Information and Transactions from the source year to the designated year.
- Copy Account Information, Open Office Events, and Transaction – Copy Account Information, Open Office Events & Transactions from the source year to the designated year.
Close office events from source account year? – Choosing YES will close the Open Office Events from the source year once copied. Choosing NO will leave the Office Events open from the source year.
Allow “Add on Creation” events to be added to the rolled over Accounts – Choosing YES will create those Office Events, labeled “Add On Creation” in ADMIN>Event Status, in the designated year. By choosing NO, these Office Events will not be created in the designated year.
Disable Contact Auto-Data Update – Selecting YES will automatically enable the Disable Contact Auto-Data Update setting in the rolled client accounts. Selecting NO will not automatically enable the setting.
Note: This setting only impacts the EF Data Import for Drake and Crosslink users
