The Permanent Note section of the client file will store and display data across the client’s entire file, account years, and business types. You may find it beneficial to store important files notes and reminders that you wish to have viewable at all times i.e., Dependent claim years, Home Office square footage, Rental Deprecation, POA’s, or anything that will save you time searching for.
Field Descriptions #
Show In Lobby Status Screen – Selection Field Box to enable the function that will show all Permanent Note information in the note section of the Lobby Status when the client file is added to the Lobby Status.
Permanent Note Field – Open Permanent Note box for data entry and viewing. *Notes will also appear when scheduling an appointment in the ATOM appointment scheduling pop-up labeled as the “Client Permanent Notes:”
Time Stamp Icon – Select link to add the User’s Name and time stamp inside the Open Permanent Note section prior to adding your note.
Expand Window Web Function – Select and drag the note window larger or smaller with your mouse for viewing preference. *This option is a function of your Web Browser and not inherently a part of the ATOM programming and therefore not available on every browser type.
Last Modified By – New Permanent note edits will show the timestamp of the last ATOM User who Page 2 of 2 saved the edit.
Save – Action button to save any changes to the Permanent Note.
NOTE: To delete a Permanent Note you can remove all language inside the Permanent Note section and then Save your new “blank” note
