The Dashboard is a quick glance at the activity belonging to the client file. This section also displays Account information, as well as any Permanent Notes and specific settings tied to the client.
Dashboard #
The Dashboard area will display cards that provide a quick view of the client file activity. Most of the cards are specific for the account year you are viewing. This section is dynamic, so the number of cards will vary from client to client and year to year. Each card can be clicked on to be taken to that section of the client file. The total number of cards are 10 and they are:
- Balance – Displays the client’s balance for that year. The Balance card is always displayed whether or not the client has a pending balance.
- Account Documents – Displays the number of documents uploaded to that year’s Account Documents section.
- Permanent Documents – Displays the number of documents that have been uploaded to the client’s Permanent Documents section.
- E-Sign – Displays if the client has a pending document for e-sign.
- EF Status – For Drake and Crosslink users, once the EF Data is imported, this card will display the Acknowledgement codes.
- Open Accounts – Displays the number of open accounts that the whole client file has. An open account is an account that hasn’t had the Complete Event Status created yet.
- Open Events – Displays the number of events that are currently open in that account year.
- Open Notes – Displays the number of Tasks/Notes that are currently open in that account year.
- Appointment – If the client has a scheduled appointment, that information will be displayed in this card.
- Client Referrals (RAF) – Displays the total number of referrals this client has been linked to.
View Client Portal – This button at the top-right of the page will open a new tab that displays what your client will see when they log into the client portal. This is particularly useful when trying to troubleshoot problems that the client is having when trying to use the client portal. ATOM users can help guide portal users to where they need to go.
Account #
This card will display the Account Type, Account Difficulty, Account User, and Account Number that have been assigned to the file. Clicking the card will take you to the Account Information (Overview) section of the client file where you can edit the information.
Client Representatives #
This card displays the Requested Preparer and the Default Communications User. Clicking it will take you to the Name / Address section where you can select the Requested Preparer and Default Communications user.
File Settings #
This card will display file settings found in Name / Address like: Category 1 and 2, Disabled SMS, and Disabled Emails. Clicking on it will take you to the Name / Address section.
Identification #
Displays the Primary and Spouse’s name and age. Will also display whether the Permanent Documents section contains a copy of their ID and whether it has expired. Clicking this card will take you to the Name / Address section.
Permanent Notes #
This will display the Permanent Note that has been added to the client file. Clicking on the note will take you to the Permanent Notes section where you can edit it.
